STAFF
Jaron Brandt
Jaron joined our staff in 2016 as the Student Minister to our middle school and high school students. He now serves as the Youth & Family Minister helping families give kids of all ages an example of Christ to follow. Originally from San Antonio, Jaron graduated from Oklahoma Christian University where he earned a Bachelors in Biblical Studies and a Masters in Christianity & Culture. In addition to his pastoral work at Care Church, Jaron also regularly works with Teen Life as an advocate and facilitator of support groups for teenagers in local schools. For fun, Jaron enjoys learning new things, exploring nature, reading comics, listening to music, watching movies, collecting art, and playing games of all shapes and sizes. Jaron and his wife Michaela proudly live in Richardson with their son and two spoiled dogs.
Lisa Dumler
Lisa Dumler has been with our Child Development Center since 2010. She taught in the 3 year old class for 10 years, a Pre-K teacher for one year and moved up to Assistant Director in August 2021. She has been married to Duane for 21 years. They have 2 children Alyssa and Logan. She loves traveling, camping, hiking and doing all things outdoors with her family.
Dr. Drew Gaylor
Drew Gaylor is our Preaching Minister, and he began serving with Care Church in August 2013. Drew loves preaching and teaching, working with people, and paying attention to the movement of the Spirit in his life and the life of Care Church. He is married to Jennifer, and they have two wonderful children: Tyler and Loralai. He has a B.A. in Bible from ACU (2000), a M.Div. from Brite Divinity School (2003), and a D.Min. from ACU (2011). Drew has served with churches in Indianapolis, IN (Westlake Church of Christ) and Lawrenceville, GA (Gwinnett Church of Christ). He enjoys spending time with his family, sports, movies, books, and Tex-Mex. Drew is grateful to serve with the Care Church family in extending the love and care we have received from God to all others.
DeAnn Branham
DeAnn joined Care Corps in October 2023. She moved to Richardson in the mid 1970’s. DeAnn’s resume consists of Revenue Cycle Management within the Construction, Medical and Pharmaceutical Industries. She has three daughters and 3 grandbabies and lives in Wylie, TX with her husband Scott. She enjoys reading, traveling, and serving when she can.
Scott Branham
Scott began his role as Facilities Support at Care Church in November 2023. Scott is married to DeAnn and has one son, three step-daughters, and three step-grandchildren. Before coming to Care Church, Scott worked for 15 years repairing fueling equipment. Scott feels called to serve at Care Church and enjoys helping others.
Jill Horton
Jill joined the Care Church staff in the summer of 2018, having previously served in Children’s and other ministries for several years. She has a degree in Graphic Design from Abilene Christian University. Prior to working at Care Church, she worked for AT&T. Jill also volunteers as a Children’s Leader at Bible Study Fellowship and with her local PTAs. She lives in Richardson with her husband Landon and their three daughters.
Don Hurst
Don grew up in Wichita, Kansas, went to Oklahoma Christian College and University of North Texas, studying music. Don and his wife, Naomi, moved to Texas in 1976 and became a part of this Church. Don retired in 2014 and after working in some varied part-time jobs in the interim joined the Care Church staff in September 2018.
Danielle Otenti
Danielle Otenti has been with our Child Development Center since 2008. She has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Dallas. She loves working with children and previously taught Kindergarten for eight years. Danielle has been a member of Care Church since her early youth. She has three children of her own.
Laura Snyder
Laura Snyder joined our staff as our Ministry Assistant in March 2013 after eleven years in the legal profession. She has been a member of Care Church since 2008. Originally from Arlington, Laura graduated from Southeastern Community College in Keokuk, Iowa in 2002 and later The University of Texas at Arlington where she obtained her paralegal degree in 2005. She and her husband, Evan, a life-long member of Care Church, live in Allen with their three children, Cole, Gretchen, and Mason. She enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
