SHARING CHRIST. LOVING OTHERS. CHANGING LIVES.
CHRISTIANS AT RICHARDSON EAST
We are the Christians at Richardson East (CARE), and this is more than a name. It's a way of life. One of the most important gifts we can give to the world is people who care. We invite you to join us as we seek to extend the care we have received from God to our neighbors.
Dallas County has declared a state of emergency as COVID-19 continues to spread.
To do our part in slowing down the spread of this virus, we are moving our Sunday worship service online only. Do not come to the building. Instead, connect with us online at 10 AM on Sunday morning. Once there, you can view our worship service as it is live-streamed (Facebook Live Stream, Roku Channel, and the Sermon Page on our website). Zach and Drew will lead worship: primarily singing, teaching, and a virtual experience around the Table. We will have someone on staff monitoring the live feed on Facebook, so feel free to interact with each other and share prayer requests or other needs.
Let's work to stay connected with each other, encourage each other, and watch out for the most vulnerable among us. Let's also pray Psalm 91 replacing "pestilence and plague" with "COVID-19".
Sunday Worship Experience
Each Sunday, we gather around God's Table and share in Christ with each other. Our time around the Table renews us so we can share Christ with our neighbors throughout the week. In this way, we seek to make a difference one table at a time.
"Then the two told what had happened on the way, and how Jesus was recognized by them when he broke the bread."
Small groups provide the space for us to grow spiritually with a group of friends. We pray together, share meals, and encourage each other to live out the gospel every week.
"They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts..."
Serving Our Neighbors
God is the one who changes lives, and we are continually being transformed into the image of Christ. Full of gratitude, we partner with God's Spirit in helping others find this same hope. Come and serve with us for now is the day of salvation.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
