This group of men was anointed as the eldership of the congregation in 2005. Richardson East has a history of reselecting its elders approximately every seven years. One of these elders has served more than 15 years, one has served eleven years, and two have served since 1999.
Each elder serves as a shepherd to a designated group of the congregation, responsible for the spiritual direction and welfare of that group as well as the entire flock. Each elder’s group also serves as a vehicle for communication, accountability and service.
Through a process of cohesive prayer and study, our elders formulated their statement of faith which is affirmed as new elders are anointed.
Please call the church office for elders' phone numbers.
