Come and have a great time on Wednesday, August 18 as we finish up Body Building and have a Back to School Bash to honor our children, teachers, coaches, school administrators, substitute teachers and administrative workers while also welcoming our new Children’s Minister Jeremy Hailey.

We will have ... FOOD … LOTS OF FUN SCHOOLYARD GAMES … FELLOWSHIP... AND A MOVIE IN THE CLC AT 8:15 FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO STAY AFTERWARDS.

We will also be having a school supply drive for Forest Ridge Elementary. Please bring these items on Sunday, August 15 or to the Back to School Bash on August 18. The items they most need are:

Notebook Paper Erasers Crayons Pencils Pencil/Supply Bags 3 Ring Binders Spiral Notebooks

Forest Ridge also has standardized dress and many of the students cannot afford the clothing. We will be passing around envelopes during Bible Class on August 15 to collect money to give to the Principal to help purchase the uniform clothing for those students who can’t afford it.

Ladies CONNECT - "Deployment"

Please join us for the LAST Ladies Connect Event on Saturday Morning, August 28 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the RE Atrium.

Bring a friend, enjoy BRUNCH, and CONNECT with the women of RE.  Speaker Beverly Ross, will challenge and encourage us as we prepare to be “deployed”.  Beverly’s daughter Jenny passed away suddenly earlier this year. Come hear how God has worked through their lives in the midst of this tragedy.

Adult Teacher Equipping Seminar

Our Adult Teacher Equipping Seminar is on Saturday, August 21 from 8:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. This year’s seminar marks the beginning of a new era in adult Bible learning at Richardson East. The purpose of this year’s seminar is to introduce a systematic 3-year curriculum built around 15 core concepts essential to the spiritual development of adult learners.

Whether you are currently teaching, have taught in the past or would like to teach in the future we hope you will plan to participate.
