Chad, Amy, Noah & Benjamin Carter
The Carters serve as missionaries in Burkina Faso, West Africa. They are a part of a team of missionaries that are currently working with the Dagara people of Burkina Faso. They have helped plant over 20 churches thus far with over 1000 active Christians. Chad is the son of long time member Carla Holland. CEREPA - Predisan
CEREPA is an outreach program of the Honduras Mission PREDISAN. RECC began their support of this medical mission in 1997. CEREPA is an acronym for El Centro de Rehabilitation del Paciente Alcoholico (The Center for the Rehabilitation of Alcoholic Patients). It is located in the city of Catacamas, Olancho, in western Honduras and has a staff of over 70 Honduran professionals and support staff who carry out the daily work of PREDISAN. In addition to CEREPA, the other outreach programs of PREDISAN include a medical clinic, five rural health centers, and community development. They are also involved in various spiritual ministries in the area including devotionals, Bible studies, personal evangelism and active participation within the local church body. Bill & Betsy Searcy
Bill Searcy has been supported by RECC since 1985. He is currently working in Nairobi, Kenya. His primary role is as a professor and registrar for the Nairobi Great Commission School. NGCS trains and educates students from throughout Africa to be evangelists, teachers and counselors in their own cultures and communities. The vision for this ministry is to see "Africans Claiming Africa for Christ". In addition to Bill's work at NGCS, he provides a counseling ministry and is working with fellow missionaries to plant churches and develop Christian counseling centers throughout Kenya. While supported by RECC, Bill has served in Belize, Meru, Kenya and Nairobi. While in Belize, he married an RECC member named Kathy Heitman. She served with him in both Belize and Meru. While living in Meru, she died in a tragic car accident. Bill has 3 children, Josh, Dabraham and Esther. Bill and Betsy were married in September 2006.
